The bed was clean, the air conditioning was refreshingly cool, and the staff were helpful, but there were no curtains.

The free washing machine was useful if you bring your own detergent and the location was acceptable, but bed bugs kept biting me all night and I had to kill six of them in one night; some were so small and fast that I could barely see them and had to use a torch to find them. I was bitten again the next day in the common area and had to go to the bathroom and strip down to kill another one. It was a nightmare. The bedsheets were stained, probably from the bugs. There were many lockers, but the staff said none were available with keys, so I had to carry my valuables everywhere. They told me it was fine to leave them in the room, yet signs warned that the hostel was not responsible for lost or stolen items, which is absurd. The café never opened; you had to wait until check‑in time (unless you paid extra) even if the beds were ready, while the staff watched movies. No toilet paper was in any restroom, and the bedside lamp had no bulb. Most other guests were long‑term residents, not travelers, and a couple kept their phone volume loud until 5 am. There was no vibe at all, hardly anyone used the common areas, and the bedroom light was always off, day and night. Towels cost an extra 20 baht. The A/C in the room was far too cold and they didn’t provide a blanket or duvet, just a sheet. When the A/C was off during the day it was too hot and stuffy because there were no fans. The curtains were ripped and didn’t hang from all the hooks, leaving large gaps.

The room was very small, a bunk for six people, but the staff were friendly and helpful.

I was calm during my visit, but sharing a bed with staff was not okay.
