The staff were fantastic, the location was spot‑on, and the whole vibe of the hotel felt relaxed and welcoming.

This older hotel is kept in tip‑top shape and the staff are incredibly kind—exactly what you’d hope for when tourism meets sustainability. The only downside? After 10 p.m. in Seeboden, there’s basically nothing left to eat.

The place is cozy, and the breakfast and dinner buffets are well put together. The catch? My room didn’t have a lake view, and that wasn’t mentioned when I booked—nothing in the description said anything about it.
