I paid for a private room and felt unsafe because the balcony touches the next room, and the place feels more like a boys’ hostel where people smoke and drink; it’s not worth a penny and I’m not happy at all.

The only thing that worked was the rooms; there were no other amenities.

The rooms were far from decent, the lock was unreliable, the AC didn’t work, the overall vibe was below average, the washroom was subpar, and I didn’t feel like taking a bath.

The people and the ambience were great, and the rooftop cafe Mt. Medley was amazing; nothing to complain about.

This hostel is the cleanest I’ve stayed in across India; it sits in the centre of Rishikesh, within walking distance of the ghats, yoga schools, the market, Ram Jhula, and Laxman Jhula. The rooms are very spacious with all the necessary facilities, the beds are comfortable, the linen is clean, the washrooms are cleaned twice a day, and the rooftop cafe serves delicious multi‑cuisine food.
