The location was great. The accommodation was excellent, clean, had everything we needed, cozy and peaceful. It felt like home away from home. We didn’t find anything we didn’t like.

Every meal we had outside was absolutely brilliant, and everyone was so friendly that I’ll definitely come back; honestly, everything was fantastic and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Pucks Glen is a fantastic spot with the lodges spaced nicely, and its location lets you walk to Benmore Gardens through the forest, plus there are lovely coffee shops nearby; I was disappointed, however, that the Pucks Glen Gorge track had been closed because of storm damage back in 2005.

I chose these lodges mainly because they sit on Pucks Glen, but I later learned that Pucks Glen was permanently closed because of storm damage, which was a let‑down; on the bright side, the hosts kept me in the loop with plenty of email updates.
