“Lovely Hidden Stay in busy City Centre!”
We booked a Deluxe Room and a King Deluxe Room, both matched the pictures exactly. The host was welcoming. As a traveler, I value a comfortable bed, a clean, quiet, light, airy room, a well‑working AC, a shower with shelves for toiletries, hot water, a functioning bathroom de‑mister, and a nice pool. I’m sharing this because I couldn’t find these details in other reviews. We could buy large water bottles for 10,000 IRP and soft drinks and Bintang for poolside, which was great. Keep in mind it’s a small family‑run business, so not all resort‑style extras are available, but it’s perfect for what we wanted. Located in the heart of Ubud on a beautiful lane away from noise, the surroundings were lovely to wake up to. The only dislikes were the lack of a bath mat and a low pillow, but the host gladly provided both. A tip for the owners: offer a hand towel and pool towel, and change towels every second day. The bottom step is very high; an additional small stone step would help future guests as the tiles are shiny and slippery. Breakfast was listed for 35,000 extra, but we were told it wasn’t available, so that information needs updating. There are plenty of places that serve breakfast, so this didn’t affect our stay.
