The flat sits in Vomero, a lovely part of Napoli with plenty of restaurants and bars and a calmer vibe than the old town; it’s close to the metro stop and the funivia to the old town and Chiaia. The flat is cozy, spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the host was very kind and gave us great local food tips. Everything was great.

The room was clean, cozy, with a comfortable bed, a fairly large bathroom and a neglected balcony; there was a kettle but no mug or spoon. It’s located in a beautiful, elegant, safe area surrounded by shops, cafés and restaurants, especially Mediterraneo, and close to the metro. The room owner lives next door, which he doesn’t disclose, and all communication goes through an intermediary. I had several incidents that made me feel unsafe during my stay: the owner eavesdropped on us and watched us from the balcony, entered the room while we were away, and I accidentally broke a chair that was fully usable. While lying on the beach, the owner sent me a photo of the chair asking why I did it. After returning home, I discovered that the chair had been taken without discussion and replaced with a scratched, dusty one. The owner demanded 165 € for the damage without a purchase receipt; similar items online cost about 50 €. I view this as an attempt to extort money, as it happened twice in contact with the owner, who lied when I asked. It’s a shame because the room has many advantages, but I cannot recommend it due to the lack of safety.

The neighborhood felt authentic, away from tourist crowds, with plenty of local eateries and shops nearby. The room was comfortable and the shower was excellent. The only issue was the fridge; there was no spoon, coffee maker, or local information provided. A printed Wi‑Fi sheet left in the room would have helped.

The room was roomy, cozy, spotless, and situated in a quiet spot about 5‑8 minutes on foot to a metro station. A 2‑minute walk leads to a street full of restaurants, shops, and cafés, and a small supermarket is also just 2 minutes away. The host was incredibly helpful and responded instantly. The fridge in the room made storing breakfast items a breeze. We’ll definitely return.
