“Nette Unterkunft”

The apartment was centrally located, spacious, with a bathroom and balcony. The bed was comfortable and more than enough for a few nights. It was a typical Zandvoort apartment for the price range. Charging an extra €25 per night for a dog is simply unacceptable. The lighting in the room and bathroom was absolutely insufficient and too dark.

The first impression was scary. The fact that we had to search for where to check in was not pleasant. But the room and bathroom were clean, perhaps not completely finished yet. I wanted to wash my hands after using the toilet, but there was no sink, which was difficult. A €25 surcharge per dog is not unreasonable, but we were welcomed warmly and the dogs even received a welcome package. Very nice. The breakfast for 2 adults, 1 child, 1 five‑year‑old cost €75 and was intense; we had only one breakfast, but what disappointed me was that the breakfast was not abundant, there was not even Kellogg's for the little one, only muesli and nothing else, so we left it at a banana for €25. There is definitely room for improvement. If there is another time, I would definitely not book breakfast. The location is great, we could have had breakfast anywhere.

The checkout was fine, but the rooms, facilities and front desk left a lot to be desired.

The room was lovely—bright and spotless, and it was my second visit. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the TV to work because there was no remote; I asked at reception twice but never got an answer.
