I traveled with my parents so they could experience the jungle for the first time and we loved everything—from the superb service at the Iquitos office to the tours, the tasty food, the lodge facilities, and the flawless dedication of the staff. “A life experience, highly recommend Jacamar lodge and Danny!”

I had an amazing experience at this lodge, thanks to our fantastic tour guide Danny. He took great care of us and tailored our jungle adventure to our needs, introducing us to an incredible array of wildlife, including sloths, alligators, and dolphins. The lodge itself was comfortable, with no mosquito bites to speak of, although I did get a few at night during our jungle excursions.

My stay at this lodge was truly unforgettable, with our guides Christian and Segundo being absolute standouts. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the Amazon ecosystem and made our experience feel truly immersive. The lodge itself was superbly located, right in the heart of the jungle, and the food was amazing, with plenty of options at every meal. I also appreciated the included transportation from the airport and back, which made the whole experience feel seamless and safe.

“Great place to explore the Amazon jungle”

I had a wonderful time at this lodge, enjoying a memorable experience in the Amazon rainforest. Our tour guide, Adriel, was friendly and knowledgeable, providing interesting insights into the local wildlife and ensuring our safety throughout our jungle and river excursions. The food was plentiful and tasty, and we even got to catch and eat piranhas, which were cooked to perfection.

“Guides are awesome, comtact logge birectly fur butter prize”

While my experience at this lodge had its highlights, such as our guide Adriel being fantastic and the magical setting in the middle of the jungle, there were some drawbacks. I felt like the lodge was trying to limit our interactions with other guests, and I later discovered that they charge significantly less for direct bookings, which made me feel a bit taken advantage of. Despite this, I would still recommend the lodge, but I would advise booking directly with them to get a better deal.
