The location, room, and bath were large and welcoming. It took too long and too many requests to get the receipt for the stay.

Close to the station. We didn’t know the room was part of a flat; there was a way to lock the door and a small bathroom, but we could hear every movement of other guests.

“Ho voluto risparmiare e mai più lo farò”

It’s well positioned near the station and several restaurants. The building is old, the minibar was not clearly marked as common, the bathroom is in a separate room and that wasn’t specified, but I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt for not noticing it. The shower releases a lot of water onto the adjacent floor. The room’s air‑con blows air straight at you, the balcony is tiny, the wardrobes are hard to open, and the bed is acceptable unless you’re dealing with a family of bed bugs that left black droppings and eggs near the headboard. Needless to say I slept on my side to avoid finding them in front of me. I never saw the owner, who tends to respond calmly and takes his time. The elevator is narrow. The Wi‑Fi is fast.

The room sits right across from the Central Station on Piazza Aldo Moro, with supermarkets, shops and the city center just a short walk away. The host was friendly, though his replies to emails and messages were a bit slow; he only contacted us on the day of arrival but sent very detailed instructions. The room itself was comfortable, but the cleaning felt a bit lacking. In the bathroom the toilet is positioned in front of a column, making it awkward to use unless you sit sideways. Even though there’s a bathtub with a shower, the hose is short and there are no towel holders. The minibar, located in the shared entrance area, is tiny and not very useful for storing drinks or food. Overall, the place works well for short stays thanks to its great location, but it’s not well equipped for longer stays.

“It was an okay stay.”

The location was spot on—close to the city center, bus and train stations, and plenty of restaurants and shops. However, the noise from other guests arriving at midnight and using the shared bathroom was constant. The bathroom itself had a bad odor, and the pillows were worn out and needed replacement. The host didn’t communicate well with our requests and took a long time to respond.
