We really appreciated the location and the surroundings of the hotel. It’s ideal for families with kids, offering plenty of playgrounds, large grassy areas, two swimming pools (one specifically for children), and food and drinks served by the pool area, which also has tables, chairs, and sun loungers. The rooms were generally decent, though the furnishings feel a bit dated and show signs of wear. The biggest drawback was the flies—so many that dining on the terrace by the river was nearly impossible. The property itself is beautiful, especially the terrace, but the outdoor seating area is almost unusable because of the flies, something the management should address. The food ranged from good to excellent, though the same dish was served differently on two separate occasions—perhaps due to a different waiter or chef—and there were slight variations in ingredients or preparation.
