It did what it was supposed to do. However, it wasn’t obvious that the bathrooms and shower were shared, and we had doubts about whether the bed sheets were even laundered. The comforter was folded back and the pillow lay upside down. I was too exhausted to fuss over it.

A tidy, clean spot with three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a quiet setting. It’s 5 km from the city centre (about an hour on foot) or 300 m from the bus station (2 $ one‑way to the city centre or 5 $ for a full‑day ticket). The biggest supermarket is a 20‑minute walk away. A great budget option for exploring Anchorage and the surrounding area. The beautiful Goose Lake is a 15‑minute walk, and Russian Jack Springs Park is nearby. The host is friendly, helpful, and very welcoming.

Close to everything. The microwave didn’t work.

Spotless and well equipped. Checking in was a breeze and the location is handy for parks and Fire Island Bakery. The walls are thin, so you’ll hear everyone else in the house loudly. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable either.

Set in a nice, quiet neighbourhood with secure access and easy entry. Having a kitchen and laundry facilities is a big plus. Loved everything!
