Almost everything was fine. However, there is no staircase connecting the upper floor to the ground floor, only an elevator. In a fire, the elevator would be unusable, so how would people get down?

Not a huge issue, but worth noting: the location sits on a very busy tourist street that stayed loud until midnight.

The front desk staff were really nice, and the bathrooms were fairly clean. The stay started with a surprise: I chose this cube hotel expecting glass or plastic doors, but the photos showed no curtains, so I assumed the windows were transparent. Instead, a curtain separated the room from the hallway. Guests arrived and were extremely loud in the middle of the night, so I couldn’t sleep. The cubes lack AC; the hallway is freezing while the rooms are hot and stale, and the tiny fan does nothing. I was also upset that the free laundry service was offered when the only washer and dryer were usually occupied with hotel towels. One time the washer was free, but the dryer was running because an employee had just started it. I asked the reception if I could take the towels to dry my clothes quickly, and they said yes. After 80 minutes (it should have taken 90), I found my wet clothes in front of the dryer while the towels were happily drying. That’s just unacceptable—don’t offer it when guests can’t or shouldn’t use it.

The pod was very spacious for its size and had good storage. The bed was comfortable, the toilets were good, and free cold water was much appreciated. The location by the river was excellent. It could have used a bit more shared space, but that’s not a big deal. There were many tour guides for the bars and restaurants on the riverside road, which is expected.
