The location was wonderfully quiet yet close to the highway, and the authenticity with many stairs and narrow passages was fun; the restaurant was good but not outstanding, and it seemed to be a draw for the surrounding area. The standard room was small and you hit your head on the edge of the dormer (and we weren’t even staying long), and the hotel is spread over four buildings—ours was in house 1 (where the restaurant is), which made the whole place a bit confusing.
