The location was very beautiful and clean. We chose this place based on the photos, but the photos and our room didn’t match; the room was flat and lacked atmosphere. We mentioned this to the owner.

Although the arrival point was somewhat gloomy, the house itself is very beautiful with a large garden and a pool that we didn’t have time to enjoy. The reception lady is just mildly pleasant; you only receive instructions to follow, and in the room two flyers remind you of the prohibitions. Moreover, at breakfast you’re only allowed one coffee, the second is charged, so there’s no sense of conviviality.

The rooms are modern, very clean, and the place is pleasant. The location is ideal for visiting Taormina and Mount Etna, and the secure parking is a plus. The breakfast variety is good. It’s close to the train, but not too noisy.

When we arrived, we were impressed by the well‑kept, green setting surrounded by olive and fruit trees, and parking was available inside the property. The room was big enough for two large suitcases, and the owners let us check in early, which was very courteous. The location was ideal for exploring Etna and taking trips to Taormina, though a car is essential in that area. The bathroom was clean and the room was cleaned daily. We didn’t book breakfast, but it looked delicious. The staff were friendly and spoke German. The pool area was inviting and relaxing…but…!!! We stayed for three nights. On the first day we noticed a large Italian family at the pool even though there were few hotel guests; they were loud and took up most of the space. The next day, after a long hike up Etna, we wanted to unwind in the pool, yet two Italian families again occupied it entirely and played loud soccer. Despite the rule that hair must be tied up or a swim cap worn, no one followed it, so the pool was full of long hair and the swim experience became unhygienic. We discovered these guests were external visitors who could use the property with a day pass. While the owners have the right to run such a concept, it wasn’t made clear anywhere, which was very frustrating because we pay for a room, pool access, and especially peace. On the last day we didn’t even go to the pool because external guests had taken it early in the morning. We gave up and looked for other swimming spots in the hot summer heat. When we returned to give it another try, an Italian teenage group was at the pool with loud music and chips. We left disappointed, feeling the experience was unusual and let down.

The place was spotless, the staff super friendly and helpful, and the vibe was just pleasant with everything kept in good shape. Nothing to complain about.
