I stayed for five nights and the room was never cleaned, no new towels were given, and breakfast was very limited and smelled bad in the dining area. The staff was sometimes unreachable, and the employee’s dog left its waste on the stones outside the motel.

“Good sleep, but missing on a health and safety point.”

The staff were friendly and helpful, but when I used the air conditioner the heat pump ran fine yet there was no airflow. I lifted the filter (see photos) and found a nightmare of hair, lint, and dust, which made me think it had never been cleaned, so I cleaned it myself in the tub and it got better. In the bathroom there was a vent fixture but no fan, leaving the room humid and stinky, and one of the wall sconces had a burnt‑out bulb.

Getting there was easy, but the TV didn’t work, the bed was so uncomfortable I rolled over and sank into a hole in the middle, and the grounds were littered with dog crap that I stepped in; the room itself smelled of mold.

The location was fine, but the front desk lady was a little rude. Check‑in was at 3 pm and she appeared 15 minutes early, looking at the clock as if it were a burden. My room wasn’t very clean, had a damp smell, and the window was open as if they were airing it out. My last stay there was better, so I’ll give it a 5 this time; I’m not sure I’ll book again.

“Safety concerns...”

There were exposed wires on the floor, the curtain didn’t cover the window, the chain lock was broken off and missing, and chunks of concrete were missing in the walk‑up to the room—lots of safety concerns for kids—so we stayed elsewhere.
