The castle is charming, the historic building has a beautiful atmosphere, and the restaurant is very chic and idyllic. A castle, of course, comes with a price. There are also castles with larger rooms for less money. ;)

The stay felt atmospheric in the old castle, with a bar in the cellar, a nice terrace, and a swimming pool. It was quiet at night, and the beds were comfortable. The hardest part was the stairs to the third floor, especially after a good dinner.

The setting, the pool, the restaurant, and the welcoming, attentive waiter were positive points. The loft room was hot, and since we were probably the only guests that night, the night was difficult. No AC, an unfortunate fan whose operation we only understood in the morning. The remote for the decoder didn’t work, but we still managed to get the decoder working. A minimum of explanations would have been welcome upon arrival, especially since the owners weren’t on site. At departure (10 h), we were alone on the premises and felt forgotten. The server at the restaurant was very professional and attentive, which improves the score. Too expensive for an average service.

Very few things! The initially offered room and the hostile attitude of the manager or owner (I would be the only dissatisfied customer) who, after seeing me take photos from her surveillance screen (apparently a camera in the hallway), preferred to pull out her checkbook to refund us and see us leave quickly rather than risk me posting the room photos at 143 €…… In short, run away!

A charming castle. Room #1 had a large, comfortable bed. The rooms lack air conditioning, and despite the fans, the heat makes it impossible to maintain an acceptable temperature. The place is nice, but avoid it when it’s very hot. There’s no lounge area (living room, library, or similar); you’re either in the room or outside. The property is somewhat neglected. The attached restaurant is decent, with good service but a rather limited menu.
