“Хороший отель по хорошей цене.”

I stayed at a hotel that was quite far from the city center, but for our family that turned out to be a plus because it was very quiet. Every morning the buffet was run by a wonderful Vietnamese woman who greeted us in Russian with a cheerful “zdravstvuyte,” which was a lovely touch. The breakfasts themselves were decent.

The rooms were genuinely clean for an older property, with pastel décor, a pillow with a stain covered by a white towel, strong water pressure for both hot and cold, a great new hair dryer, and even an iron and ironing board; the staff dealt with issues quickly, first offering me a second‑floor room despite booking a higher floor with a view, then moving me to the fifth floor, and when I asked about the missing bathtub they immediately changed my room. Overall the budget‑tourism hotel does its best, the staff give 200 % effort, there’s a large bar with complimentary apples, daily housekeeping, a decent location with a few cafés and random mini‑shops in a local neighbourhood with few tourists. However, the bathrobes were dirty and better omitted, the glass tops on tables were clean but the undersides were not, and the steps were very slippery in rain—almost caused a fall on departure, only a guard caught me at the last second, so the slippery stairs need fixing.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was clean and pleasant. Good location and excellent value for money.

“Reasonable short term stay. Good value for money”

I was really impressed with the hotel staff, who were extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfast spread was also quite satisfying, and I felt that the overall value for money was great. However, I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel, particularly the state of the bathtub, which was rather dirty.
