I loved watching the locals go about their daily lives at the shrine next door, and the breakfast was a lovely, simple affair. However, the hotel's location is a bit of a trek from Owari Seto station, and when I lifted the bedsheet, I was shocked to find a piece of orange plastic and a lingering smell of body odor - it seemed like the sheets hadn't been washed properly. The shower curtain was also a bit of a turn-off, reeking of mold.
