“Charmoso e privativo”

The house’s architecture, bed, sheets, and towels were good, the kitchen had good supplies, and it was quiet. Communication was good and they sent regional tips. The air‑conditioner got stuck every day because the remote stopped working; it stayed on and I couldn’t adjust it. Cleaning could have been better. We had to fight with cockroaches crawling on the kitchen sink, on clean dishes, and on fruit. We didn’t like that part. The shower pressure was low, making showers very long. The pool was full of leaves and other debris, so we couldn’t use it. There were many little frogs. You can’t control their entry into the house, but they were swimming in the toilet and jumping on you when you opened the lid at midnight, which was a big scare. Despite all that, it was fine and worth the stay.

The room was really big and felt airy, which I liked. Unfortunately there was no drinking water available for refilling bottles, and the place sits a bit farther out than most other options in the area.

We got a roomy room with a hammock on the little terrace – perfect for relaxing. The owner was super friendly and always ready to help. It’s a little away from the city centre, but that means it’s quiet, and they mentioned a pool is on the way.

Everything was spot‑on: clean, roomy, comfortable, and great for soaking up nature. The décor was flawless and Fernando, the host, gave us solid tips on tour times, transport and local contacts. Plus, it’s close to the port, the beach and downtown.
