“Nettes Hideaway am Land”
Fine bedding, excellent upholstery at Rosewood level, appealing architecture, and the biggest praise goes to the maître d'hôtel Felix Rieger, who is always neatly dressed, impeccably polite, and brings just the right amount of charm and wit; he alone delivers international‑level service and immediately fixes any shortcomings from his colleagues. However, at times in this rural area a penetrating smell, probably from a nearby poultry farm, can be detected; aside from Felix, the professionalism of some of the younger staff is lacking: when I arrived on a Friday evening around 19:45, the receptionist said it was impossible to get food, but a colleague soon after helped me find a seat in the nearly empty restaurant. The head service lady at breakfast should receive an internal refresher on manners and service orientation, as such a rough attitude has no place in this price range. The two side rooms of the breakfast area evoke the Marchfelderhof and do not match the high stylistic standards of the rest of the inn.
