The room was adequate for a short stay, and the fridge was a bonus. The room was on the top floor, requiring many stairs to climb, and the kitchen was on the ground floor. The bedside lamp did not work.

There was free street parking! The room was tiny, the window was broken and didn’t open, and there was no air conditioning so I melted away. The pillow was very thin and cheap. The sheets and quilt covers smelled and were creased, so I suspected they hadn’t been changed and slept on top of the bed. The wardrobe was broken inside and the bedside lamp flickered. If there had been a fire there would have been no escape! Noise from other residents and barking dogs was constant. The staircase was very narrow and the carpets were filthy. Keys were left under a blue bin for me to collect, which was very disturbing.
