I stayed in a great room, right a minute’s walk from Pile Gate and one of the wall entrances. Slavica handled check‑in and was ready to help with anything I needed. Lockers were available for luggage on the last day if I needed them.

“Super clean room and friendly hostess.”

The place is perfectly situated near Pile Gate. Slavica was a flawless hostess, always ready with answers and even arranged a driver from the airport for me. The only downside was the two flights of stairs and no lift, but I knew that before booking so it didn’t bother me.

“Location”

As others mentioned, the location is superb, especially when you realize how many steps you climb during the day, so you don’t have to. The room was nice and the staff were helpful. I didn’t sleep well the first night because of the pillow, but they replaced it quickly. The price is normal for Dubrovnik.

“Great stay in Old Town.”

Angelus Rooms sits right in the Old Town near Pile’s main gate, great for exploring the ancient town. The room was comfortable and Slavica’s service was outstanding: she met me at the gate, helped with my suitcase, and escorted me straight to the room. She was available whenever I needed anything. The espresso machine downstairs was excellent for coffee.

“great but quiet location with an amazing host”

Communication with the host was amazing—she kept checking if I needed anything and offered great recommendations. Slavica is simply amazing. The bed was very comfortable, and the location is quiet yet right in the center.
