The private apartment’s interior room was very comfortable and spotless. Breakfast in the host Antonio’s kitchen was well‑assorted. Upon arrival he told us about Matera’s history and how to best explore it. He was a fantastic person. The location is practically on the road to the main square and the Sasso Barisano (10 minutes on foot). Parking poses no issues, with both white‑striped and blue spaces available. My wife and I were fully satisfied.

The welcome was friendly with plenty of explanations, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the apartment is 10 minutes from the center.
