“A fabulous quiet place for country lovers.”
We felt like we were in paradise, far from the crowds, noise, and traffic of Sunny Beach and Sozopol, with lovely views of farmlands and hills. The only sound was hens clucking and roosters crowing nearby. The room and bathroom were a decent size and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were substantial and plentiful. The pool area was separate, spotless, with comfortable recliners and mattresses, and you could choose sun or shade; there were changing rooms and toilets nearby. The gardens were lovely for such a dry area. A small village shop had limited stock, but Elhovo was only a 14 km drive away, and there was excellent covered parking. The room could have used a wardrobe for longer stays. One end of the pool was too deep for shorter people—it was over my head when I stood on the bottom. The continental breakfast became repetitive after a few days, and the other meals lacked variety; there were no soups or desserts, even though dinner usually included something sweet like watermelon, biscuits, or a baked item. For a short stay of one or two nights the menu would have been fine.
