Very chill vibe, very nice location, great people. Great recommendations. Loved it. No AC, so it was very hot. During my stay there was no breakfast, but there are many other good options right next door, so really no big deal.

I loved my stay here. The beds were comfy. I stayed both in the dorms and in a private room, each for a few days. Both were great. No aircon (you have a fan) or WiFi but it wasn’t needed. The common area has lots of places to sit and chill. It looks out onto the beach so you can’t help but feel relaxed. M’Pai Bay is amazing, so laid back. I left to visit another bay, but ended up coming back to M’Pai and Seashell. You can walk about 10 minutes to quiet long beach which is so beautiful. You can see bioluminescent plankton at night here too! You can also rent a snorkel and just go from the island. The people staying at seashell were great, and so were the volunteers. Big love Tarik!! Felt so relaxed by the end of my stay, didn’t want to leave

Nice guesthouse right on the beachfront, a great spot to unplug and unwind. Breakfast is good, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and bars nearby, blending local vibes with western expats. Many long‑stay travelers stay here, which shows it’s a solid base. The only downside is the extra charge for water refills and no WiFi, which feels a bit stingy compared to other places in SE Asia, but it’s not a huge issue. Private rooms on the top floor get hot, and the top bunks are even hotter, but I could still sleep with the fan on.

The hostel is pleasant and quiet, with a large room that’s a bit run‑down but clean. The staff are friendly, and they organize a nice activity each day for guests to join. I had trouble with the bed: something itchy and unidentified made me itch all night, a problem others have reported too. None of the lights that come with each bed worked, and the room lighting is a bit lacking.

The location is perfect, right on the beach like in a movie! The rooms are comfortable, well‑furnished, and clean, and the staff are very welcoming. The only negatives are no WiFi (the nearby restaurants have it), no shower gel, and the single rooms are under the roof where a big fan is helpful but not a substitute for air‑conditioning in this heat.
