Very pleasant stay in a warm atmosphere and a fantastic setting.

Good breakfast with plenty of choices, and the beds were much better than some competitors; I slept well in a quiet street with almost no traffic. The village itself offers little to do, but that’s obvious once you’re there.

The hosts were friendly, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh fruit. The curtains weren’t adequate for blocking out light, and the neighbour’s garage floodlight illuminated the room whenever a cat passed by. The furnishings are very outdated.

The location is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful, but the hotel feels old and the furnishings show its age.
