The staff were lovely and the rooms were clean and very quiet when we arrived, and breakfast was lovely. However, no food was available on the premises and we were told we had to pre‑book the evening meal, but we never received an email about this. There wasn’t enough tea or coffee in the room—just enough for a drink, not even enough for a cup in the evening or a cup in the morning.

We stayed for one night and the location was perfect for the wedding we were attending; the room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good and the rates seemed to offer good value for money. I would happily stay again—thank you.

I can't praise the staff enough, especially the chef, they went above and beyond. Beautiful view from our room over the reservoir, food was lovely and reasonably priced and I had the best 2 nights sleep ive had in a long time. Nothing really

The room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The bar lacked atmosphere; a bit of background music would have helped. The young staff seemed inexperienced and struggled at times, so more training would be beneficial. The lady serving breakfast, however, was superb.
