Clean, nice location, half the staff are pleasant, the other half shouldn’t interact with guests; they’re cold and in a bad mood. The breakfast was only 2‑star level at best. Luckily there were eggs with bacon and a good variety of bread. The coffee was average. For 100 euros for a night in Croatia off‑season it’s expensive for what it offers.

The hotel is in a beautiful place, ideal for bikes or walks. At check‑in the receptionist told us that guests have a free hour of wellness, but we booked through booking, so we’re not hotel guests and must pay. She also said that dinner can’t be ordered after 16:00, but we checked in late, so we chose from the menu, which wasn’t possible. Dinner is only for pre‑ordered meals. When asked if I really should drive somewhere else and spend my money, we were told “Yes”. The bike rack was packed to the point of bursting; bikes were stacked one over the other, while other racks were empty. I don’t recommend it for expensive bikes. Breakfast is weak for this hotel category. The receptionist keeps taking a cigarette break and tells us to call on mobile. This is a hotel we won’t return to.

“Šumava se nám vždy líbí”

We wanted a room with a view, but we ended up on the third floor looking straight at the hotel building itself. The breakfast was decent, though.

A pleasant hotel with a private wellness option, excellent breakfasts and dinners, especially the chef (řku). The entire staff was very helpful and the hotel is close to tourist routes.
