Clean, fresh, great staff. The hard pillows were horrible.

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and the bed was comfy, but the breakfast could be better.

Nice location, peaceful, but the light on the smoke alarm in our room flashed every 40 seconds continuously, fine during the day but stopped us from sleeping; after the first night we reported it and a staff member taped over the flashing part without fixing it, so we hardly slept over the two nights and couldn't turn off the heated towel rail, making it too hot.

The golf course. The room was dirty. Cobwebs on walls, dirty skirting boards, window frames and ledges, wall next to the bin had what looked like flicks of tea from people throwing saturated teabags in the bin - same as the wall next to the kettle. Also, the glasses in the bathroom were grubby. Breakfast was not good. The bacon, eggs, hash browns were extremely oily and greasy. None of the buffet looked particularly appetising. On the plus side - all the staff were lovely
