Tucker Peak Lodge

We’ve stayed here a few times and generally love the place; the view is amazing and the shared kitchen is great. Both rooms we used had old AC units that were very noisy and cycled on and off every couple of minutes, making it impractical to sleep with them on. The windows in our room wouldn’t open, so fresh air was impossible. In one of the rooms we stayed in, the TV wouldn’t work and there was no staff to help; it didn’t work the last time we were in that room a couple months ago as well.

My group stayed in the Mountain View room and it was fantastic—lots of space and very clean. The entrance to the establishment is up a steep hill, and locals drive very quickly down the roads here, so just be mindful of the area!

“Nice and cozy for the perfect price”

Great location overlooking the hills. The common area has a cabin look that fits perfectly with the location. Tim was very clean and free of any insects. You can tell the place will eventually need work: the outside wooden stairs will need replacing, the main door scrapes halfway when opening, the A/C filter needs replacing, and there were signs of water leaks/humidity. Nothing concerning at the moment, but I just hope that when the remodel takes place a nice BBQ grill is added to the outside patio.

This is our second time at the Tucker Peak Lodge. We absolutely love staying in the family suite, and the location is heavenly.
