The hotel was close to the highway, which was a plus, but I had to address an issue that left me feeling better afterward.

The breakfast fell flat: two dry Danish in a plastic case, no full stock, paper napkins meant for housekeeping, staff eating in front of guests. The front desk agent sat slumped on the counter, scrolling his phone; when I asked for a disposable razor he had to look it up and it would cost $10, which should be free or at most $1. The place needs a deep clean, a fresh coat of paint, and attention to detail—missing lightbulbs in the breakfast bar fixtures, stained carpets, scuff marks on baseboards.

“Rooms were comfortable, but it needs a lot of upkeep and better management to get things done around the facility.”

The staff were friendly, but there was no pool, the gym equipment was broken, and water leaked everywhere.
