Friendly and welcoming reception from Gérald and Hina. They gave us advice for our stay and made life easier. A very pleasant stay in Raiatea at their house, comfortable room with terrace. Ras.

They welcomed me like home, I felt safe. I recommend it for solo female travelers. It’s a few blocks from a car‑rental place I also highly recommend. The host was always available to ensure I had a good stay and gave tips on how to visit the island’s tourist spots. Like many other lodgings on the island, you need a vehicle to get around, but at a Tomo Mai there is covered parking available for rented cars, which is a plus.

Gerald, our host, was very welcoming and flexible, letting us arrive early in the morning and drop off our luggage on the day we left. The room was very comfortable and clean. The terrace and private bathroom were also great. The kitchen is shared, but we hardly cooked. A personal fridge on the terrace is very handy. The place is well situated, close to the town by car—renting a car is essential to enjoy this island.
