What you see in the photos is exactly what you get here; it’s ideal for those who appreciate Goa’s tranquil side, a cozy home‑like stay, Querim beach is a walk away, and the rest of the village is also lovely—highly recommended for people who enjoy simple pleasures. The bathrooms, however, could use better ventilation.

We truly liked our time at Laxmi Happy Home; the accommodation is basic yet comfortable and about a 10‑minute walk from the beach; the hosts are very helpful and friendly, giving the place a wonderful calm vibe.

Our stay at Laxmi Happy Home was unforgettable! Manuel went above and beyond to make our trip easy and fun; he personally took me to the nearby town of Arambol when I needed to pick up items and kept us updated on exciting events and activities; the homestay itself is beautiful, our room was spacious, clean, and surrounded by stunning greenery; the bathroom and kitchen were great, hot water worked perfectly, and we had unlimited access to clean water and cooking equipment like a hob and fridge; the location is a 5‑10 minute walk from Querim beach, which is a great escape—less crowded than nearby beaches but still full of restaurants and beach shacks; there are also small shops and restaurants around the homestay area, so everything you need is very accessible; Manuel dined with us, offered morning yoga, gave us dance lessons, and we even went out to see an amazing concert with him, something we wouldn’t have found without his help; his attention to detail and engagement made us feel like family rather than guests; bonus points for the absolutely adorable kittens! The only downside is that while shops and restaurants are nearby, we had a moped so accessing them was very easy, but if you’re walking they’re not as quick to reach and transport is difficult in that area, so getting to the nearby town of Arambol is quite tricky; if you do head to Arambol, I’d recommend getting the number of an auto or taxi driver.
