“Very clean, modern and comfortable with great staff and lovely food in the restaurant.”

The staff were very professional, helpful and polite; the restaurant offered a great variety of tasty food served promptly, and the hotel itself was quiet and well decorated. The location was decent, but a more secure parking area for motorcycles would have been better—there’s space that could be used for that. A gentleman in the garden was picking figs at breakfast and offered some; I wasn’t a fan, but my wife would have loved them, though she was in Manchester at the time.

We stayed with our son and were overall pleased; the setting is beautiful and the staff were helpful and attentive. Our room lacked a fridge, but the staff kindly let us store food in theirs, which we appreciated. The room was clean and tidy. There’s a pool on the grounds, but we couldn’t use it because it was closed in the rain. The only drawback was that our ground‑floor room was next to the laundry; the door wasn’t shut, so we could hear the machines from about 8 a.m., yet this didn’t ruin our overall impression. We had a lovely stay and valued the staff’s hospitality.

The hotel was very accommodating and all requests were met without trouble. The climate control worked well, the pool was nice, and the breakfast buffet was ample; for €15 per person the all‑you‑can‑eat offer was pleasant. The booking went through smoothly on short notice. However, there was very little staff on site, which gave a very private feel but also meant we sometimes didn’t know we had to go to reception to order food.

The spot for a layover is decent, the rooms are functional, the pool is nice, and breakfast is plentiful; we had a pleasant stay. We dined out for dinner because the on‑site restaurant was hosting a celebration and we didn’t want to disturb them, but it’s probably excellent. The Deluxe Double is spacious, but the whirlpool has seen better days, and a mini‑bar would be welcome.
