“Pas de climatisation individuelle réglable, ventilation air bruit infernal”

The bed comfort was good. Access to the hotel was complicated, the room did not match our reservation, it should have been larger with two separate beds. Moreover, the room was not air‑conditioned; arriving at 18h the temperature inside was at least 26 °C, there was no way to lower it. After complaining at reception, they told us the AC would start automatically at 20h. In fact the room had no individual AC, just an external air ventilation that could not be controlled and made a noise like a washing machine spin; we had to cut the breaker to stop the noise and open the window to sleep a little. Finally, the parking available was not secure at all, it was not closed.

The hotel was easy to reach and had plenty of parking; the staff were attentive and even helped me freeze some ice units for transporting insulin syringes, despite the minibar fridge in my room not being sufficient for keeping them at 39 °C. The air‑conditioner was filthy and stank; I couldn’t turn it off, so I slept with the window open in 35 °C heat surrounded by mosquitoes. The room had a vanity and mirrors that made it feel like a different place, not a bedroom, and they were unsightly and took up a lot of space. Breakfast was low‑quality with very few choices.

The place was terrible – the room was filthy, with hair in the bed and a greasy bathroom floor, and there was no air‑conditioning despite being advertised as such; we spent the whole night in the attic sweltering and couldn’t sleep.

I booked two adjoining rooms because I was traveling with my husband and our three kids aged 11, 6 and 4, but the staff insisted on giving us a third‑floor room and another on the ground floor and refused to swap them; I had to keep pressing and complaining before they finally relented.
