The location, the well‑maintained facilities, a very good breakfast in a nice dining room, and the parking right outside the hotel were all great, plus the friendly and helpful reception and farewell. The size of our room wasn’t suitable for a longer stay.

“Not as advertised, all a bit odd.”

Breakfast was fine, the location was good and the Moulins were charming. Choices were limited and the staff were doing their best but seemed rushed, especially when we had to wait for the previous guest’s table to clear. Parking was excellent, the décor lovely, and the air‑conditioned room comfortable. The website claimed there was an on‑site restaurant, but there isn’t one, and the staff were embarrassed explaining this while admitting the site had said otherwise. The town centre is a 10‑minute walk with great restaurants, which suited us, but it would have been disastrous for less able guests who were misled. Overall the place was well done to a high standard, yet it felt like something was limping under false pretences until it was convenient to shut it down. The staff were delightful but seemed hassled, overworked, and embarrassed.
