The hotel sits beautifully down by the harbor and very central in Svaneke, a truly cozy town with several great restaurants. The room was very nice and the area around the hotel was very quiet and calm – at least during the autumn holiday when we stayed there. The breakfast was particularly good with many homemade items.

Our room was fairly basic but unexpectedly had a small, slightly outdated kitchenette with a kettle, stove plates, and cooking utensils. The bathroom had been recently modernised. The courtyard was very pretty, with many cosy seating spots. The breakfast was truly spectacular: the room itself was beautiful, overlooking the harbour and well‑furnished, and the food was simply excellent.

The location was great and the building was awesome, with good breakfast. We booked a room with a view, but it faced a heavily trafficked public parking lot, and we felt like cars were driving straight into our room; we had to close the curtains because people kept looking in. The bathroom was old, ugly, and dirty, and although it was cleaned afterward, the requested move was impossible even though other rooms were available. The discount offered afterward couldn't make up for the reduced relaxation value.

Morgenmaden var i orden - men lidt svært at undgå mange kulhydrater (spiser Low Carb pga. diabetes). Det ville være dejligt, hvis man på de forskellige morgenmadsprodukter kunne se næringsindhold. Køleskabet kørte hele tiden og varmede hele bordpladen, så man skal passe på hvad man stiller der! Lidt mærkeligt at man skal betale en "bøde" på kr. 500, hvis man ikke vasker det brugte service op inden afrejse. Det er jo ikke et billigt hotel
