“Nice for families, but not luxury or 5 star”

The room was lovely and the beach was easy to reach. The spa pool, sauna, hamam and the adults’ bar with its game room were nice touches. But it’s not a five‑star place; it feels more family‑and‑children oriented with the associated noise. The self‑service restaurant gets very crowded and is poorly arranged, creating chaos. The silver lining is that you can use the pool and facilities at the next‑door Dunas property, which is quieter and has a better‑organized restaurant.

The setting was really pleasant and we had direct access to the beach. The room was roomy and the bedding was comfortable. The staff were welcoming. However, the food and cocktails didn’t reach a five‑star level and we were disappointed with the quality, except for the mojito workshop which produced great drinks. It’s a shame the hotel doesn’t provide a shuttle to the port; on the way out we manage, but on the return we have to book a taxi through the reception. The sun loungers are an extra charge and rather pricey.

We loved the stay and the experience they offered us. The hotel was excellent and so were its staff. I want to thank D Carla immensely for giving us an incredible experience; she was always attentive, extremely kind, dedicated and available to help with everything! We hope to return one day to repeat this unforgettable experience. Nothing to point out.

“Increíble estancia en Porto santo”

Todo. Destacar el trato personal de Belinda en recepción que siempre nos ayudó cuando lo necesitábamos. Agradecer el tener sombrillas que podías utilizar para ir a la playa. Por ponerle alguna mejora podrían tener cuerdas en las terrazas para tener toallas y bañadores
