The hotel’s location and the food were good, but the bed was as hard as a floor, and there was no cleanliness—used toilet paper was even on the mirror.

Everything you could possibly need was there: a big bed, comfy pillows, a large fridge with ice, decent shower pressure, bottled water, a roomy wardrobe, several mirrors, a desk, a TV (if you’re Thai), shower gel & shampoo, netted windows, great AC that was already on when we arrived, a nice balcony with seating and plenty of plants and flowers outside. There’s also a shop area, but we only stayed one night so didn’t check it; the price was a bargain at under £17 for the night. I would suggest adding bin liners, a soft mattress topper because the bed felt a bit hard, replacing rusty hooks, fixing the shower head so it doesn’t spray everywhere, correcting any other room flaws, and putting a small lamp with warm light for evenings.

The exterior is beautiful, the staff are very friendly, and the restaurant food is delicious.

The room was clean but felt a little damp and had some mold. The restaurant had no English menu, but the food was fine.
