Il Giuncheto turned out to be the highlight of our Italian adventure; the setting was gorgeous, serene, and ideal for unwinding while touring Tuscany. What truly set the place apart were the people, especially Maila and Francesca. Maila, the chef, is a remarkable talent; her dishes are absolutely amazing, but it’s her friendliness and generosity that left a lasting mark. We chatted with her daily and were so taken with her cooking that we dined on the property three times! A tip for future guests: skip lunch if you’re planning to dine there— the portions are ample, the flavors superb, and you’ll leave satisfied. We felt fortunate to meet Maila and were genuinely sad when we had to leave. We also cherished starting our mornings with Francesca; her freshly made eggs and cappuccinos were delightful, and the brief conversations each day made us feel welcomed and eager to explore Tuscany. Our stay was unforgettable and we’d return immediately. Il Giuncheto stands out as one of the most memorable parts of our trip; we came for the Tuscan landscape, but the people will stay with us longest. ❤️ For future guests, keep an eye on extra charges: between our three dinners, two bottles of wine, a vineyard tour, and laundry, we were billed an additional €660 (over $750) at checkout. We understood these were extras, yet the total grew quickly; a running total or itemized list during the stay would have helped avoid the surprise. They did send us off with a complimentary bottle of wine, a sweet gesture.

The place is sensational, centrally located for this part of Tuscany. Absolutely nothing to criticize.

Il Guincheto was an absolute dream; among all our honeymoon stays, it was by far the best. We already wish we could return! The rooms and grounds were stunning, and the views were breathtaking. The breakfasts and dinners were the finest we’ve had on our Italian tour. The staff, especially Myla and Francesca, were the highlight; we felt genuinely cared for by everyone, and by the time we left we felt we were saying goodbye to friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay; we hope to return one day! Nothing else to add.

The staff were fantastic. Myla and Francesca are perfect hosts, and the food is outstanding. The vibe was very relaxing. It was a great place to escape and to use as a base for day trips to nearby villages, experiencing local culture and food around Tuscany. It’s located in a very safe area with a gated driveway.
