Pousada Palacio Estoj is fantastic. Very clean, very historic, great ambience and a rich breakfast on a wonderful terrace with endless beautiful views into the wide country. And a great pool and SPA area.

The new building is architecturally successful. Nice view and a mix of palace and modernity. The new building has aged after 17 years. Renovation backlog in the room. Very weak water jet in the bathroom. Breakfast is all self‑service, even for a 5‑star and SLH.

The building is impressive. Very well maintained. Beautiful gardens and surroundings. The pool is nice in a very relaxed atmosphere (water a bit cold)

Breakfast was very good, though the cooked items could have been hotter. Because we have been staying with you for many years, the regular staff always give us a lovely welcome. Bar service was much improved on this visit.
