I ended up choosing a pricier room for the air‑conditioning, but the unit made a lot of noise and I couldn’t sleep with it on, so I paid more and still felt hot.

Our last stay at Bekasim was in 2020; we’d been choosing it for Botucatu since 2009. It was a different hotel back then. Things are much better now in 2026: the pools were clean, the breakfast was much better, but it seems the hotel is poorly maintained at the moment.

I barely saw any positives—room was dirty, furniture was old, and breakfast was awful. Everything was a letdown.

The location was good, but this place is only for business travelers who just need a cheap night. I don’t mind the older facilities, but the conditions were bad. I asked a staff member to turn on the breakfast hall lights and only one bulb worked. Breakfast could be simple, but it should still be decent. I don’t recommend it for families, couples, or anyone else. Just for a solo business trip where you need a budget stay.
