Hostel Pekarna, located in Maribor beside Magdalenski Park, offers colorful, hardwood‑floored rooms with LCD TVs, kitchens, and free Wi‑Fi. Guests enjoy free bike rentals, parking, and a terrace overlooking the mountains. The Drava River lies 400 m away, while a restaurant, grocery shop, and bus/train stops are within 100 m. Maribor’s cathedral and town hall are a short walk.

Very friendly reception, very clean, everything new. Quick walk to the old town, quiet area, bakery and Spar nearby.

Most things were great. The ramp didn’t work one day and I was lucky to pay only 0,40€ for parking. The receptionist didn’t have a solution when she noticed something wrong with the sensor. Reception was supposed to be open until 20:00 a week later, but it closed earlier yesterday without any notice. I had to extend my stay, which was unpleasant because I was using the shared kitchen that is available according to the reception schedule.

Located in a good spot next to a small park and the city centre (just on the other side of the river). The staff were kind. You can have a very good breakfast for a good price.
