The location is unbeatable and the inn’s food is amazing, but there is no private bathroom/toilet option.

I was just a 3‑minute walk from both the 7‑11 and the main bus stop, and the lake was practically right outside the door. The owners were friendly and always around, and the neighborhood felt very calm. Nothing else stood out.

The view here is unbeatable, and the location is the best you can find. Over three nights we enjoyed breakfast and dinner every day, with the breakfast menu changing daily. We even got a free bicycle and rode all the way to Kawaguchiko. The room was spotless, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the price was fair compared to other places. No complaints.
