“FATAL”

The only good thing was the location. We didn’t like anything, from having to walk 15 minutes to pick up the keys to everything else. The landing for the room was broken, which made me stumble. The room, bathroom and terrace were small and smelled bad (tobacco and damp). The walls were stained; to urinate in the bathroom you have to put a foot on the shower plate (about 50x50 cm) because the sink doesn’t fit, and it weighs 70 kg. The windows were old and the air‑conditioner was old. The night lamps were crooked and wouldn’t turn on. The bed was uncomfortable, you sink in the middle. Furniture: two wooden boards on the wall as nightstands, a repaint‑ed wooden chair and a kind of table made of wires. In short, the worst room I’ve booked in my life for 99 €, 19 hours, from 3 pm to 10 am.

Very good and comfortable. It just didn’t have a TV, but everything else was fine.

“Estafa total”

The only good thing was the location. We booked Ark House Rivera expecting the room shown in the Booking offer, but the reality upon arrival was completely different. We found a room in a worrying state of neglect with serious maintenance and hygiene problems. The room was not clean. Walls had visible stains everywhere and the floor needed a deep wash. The furniture was very deteriorated and outdated; the bed was sagging/open and there were details showing little care, such as loose sockets on the wall or old stained chairs. Also, the room door didn’t close properly due to a faulty handle. Odor and equipment: As soon as you entered, a continuous damp smell was noticeable. There was no TV in the room. Bathroom condition and pests: The bathroom was extremely small, to the point that the shower barely had space to move. The worst was the floor of the bathroom, which was completely broken, lifted, and cracked, giving a lamentable and unhygienic image. On top of that, we found cockroaches in the bathroom during the stay. In summary, the value for money and fidelity to what was advertised on the platform leave a lot to be desired. It is not a place fit for guests.

“Repetiriamos seguro.”

The room was super comfy and spotless, and the location was amazing. However, a few guests from China couldn't get the key codes, and the 24‑hour front desk was unhelpful because you just talked to a machine and no one answered; they ended up sleeping at the train station. We spent two hours trying to find a solution, while other hotels were fully booked. They should have a guard on duty for situations like this.
