The bathroom was dirty, the air‑conditioner kept dripping, and the room had a stale, musty smell.

I was in the city center, close to the main tourist bridge, and it only took 5–10 minutes on foot. The room was just the right size, spotlessly clean, and the staff were friendly. I could park my car right in front of the room, and the terrace was great for relaxing while watching the trees. Every day I saw a squirrel in front of my room. Prices vary by day, but if you think it’s cheap, you won’t regret staying here. The main attraction, the early‑morning monk‑bridge pilgrimage, makes the area noisy from dawn. Most guests go to the pilgrimage, so the noise is understandable, but the building’s soundproofing is weak. Even on mornings when I didn’t go to the pilgrimage, the noise woke me up. It seemed most Thai guests stayed only one night, so the issue might not be severe for short stays.
