Egn Boutique Hotel

The hotel sits close to the cliffs of Mons Klint, surrounded by greenery and very quiet. There’s free parking available. I checked in myself because I was arriving late at night and the owners had given me clear instructions. The continental breakfast was varied and very good, prepared by the owners themselves.

Breakfast was excellent. The hosts were very reserved and the check‑in times were limited. We had booked a different room, but the host claimed that Booking had made a change; Booking denied this and the chosen category was no longer available, which was the one we had booked because of the experience. There was no apology or anything. In the evening there were no drinks available because the hosts were no longer present after the check‑in time.

I chose this boutique hotel near Møns Klint because it’s in a dark sky area and only a 10‑minute drive to the famous cliffs. The hosts were very welcoming, gave advice on the few dining spots nearby, and helped sort out some personal matters. The rooms were cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent. It’s a perfect spot for couples seeking peace and quiet. A 10‑minute walk takes you to a nearby beach for a nice evening stroll with lovely sunset views or stargazing.
