The staff were pleasant and everything felt clean and comfortable. The price was low, which might explain why the breakfast could use a few more items like extra eggs, bananas, or yogurt, but that would have made it nicer.

The place sits right next to the station, and the breakfast is pretty utilitarian—mostly a selection of rice balls, juice, coffee, breads, and hot soup, but still reasonably tasty. The room for a solo business traveler feels like any other typical Japanese room in terms of size and amenities; if you've seen one, you've seen them all. I’ve stayed here twice for work and wouldn’t have chosen it if my first visit had been bad.

The area around the hotel is packed with restaurants, which made dinner really convenient, and the breakfast offered a huge selection of onigiri that I loved, plus the potage soup was delicious, though the lack of nearby convenience stores is something to watch out for.
