The Hotel Ratskeller, in Salzgitter's Lower Saxon city, boasts a central market square location near the Kurpark am Gref spa gardens. Tastefully furnished en-suite rooms with internet access are offered. The hotel is 1 km from an attractive golf course and close to the city centre. Its à-la-carte restaurant serves exquisite specialities and fine wines in a historic setting with panoramic terrace and conservatory.

The location is very good. The beef lunch was excellent. The hotel is spread across several distant wings. We stayed in the standard room wing, which is at the back and close to the parking, but because the hotel is complicated, we had to walk from one wing to another through long corridors, some with stairs and no elevator, which was very inconvenient if you have luggage. We did get help from the staff, but it’s not a convenient solution. Otherwise, the room was spacious, clean, and good.
