A large room with a lounge area and a magnificent bathroom; nothing else.

Cindy, the host, is very kind, helpful, and thoughtful. The room is beautiful, with an ensuite bathroom that has everything needed for a four‑day stay. We loved all the small, well‑thought‑out details: a kettle, a Senseo coffee machine, a toaster, and a microwave. Breakfast was tasty, offering pastries, jams, yoghurt, coffee, and orange juice. The bathroom even has a hair straightener in addition to a hairdryer. There are guides and books for the stay. The jacuzzi is amazing; inside the jacuzzi room are pots, crockery, and cutlery for cooking. The BBQ is ready to use, complete with charcoal and firelighters. The nearest town is a little less than a 4‑kilometer drive or a 30‑40 minute walk, with restaurants and a small medieval village that was interesting to see. Although not super close to points of interest such as Mont Saint‑Michel or Le Havre, it’s easy to get to by car. Le Cotil Ribes is in gorgeous countryside and has a peaceful atmosphere, making it great for a romantic breakaway or a place just to unwind.

The place is magnificent in the middle of nature; we liked the pétanque field. The lack of heating for taking a shower was a downside.
